The IABC Fellows Committee is now seeking nominations for the 2017 class of Fellows. The IABC Fellow designation is awarded each year to individuals who are recognized by their peers as outstanding leaders in the profession.

What is an IABC Fellow?

The designation is considered a professional lifetime achievement award. It is given to recognize IABC members who have continually made an outstanding contribution to the communication profession, through exemplary achievement within their own organization and through unselfish service to IABC and its members.

IABC Fellow criteria

IABC Fellow selection criteria is based on the following:

  • Contribution to, and leadership in, organizational communication
  • Career achievement
  • Authorship, speaking and lecturing.
  • Contributions to the IABC (requirement for recent service includes substantial contribution to IABC during the past five years) 

The deadline for submitting your nomination is due on Friday, 9 December by 5 p.m. EST.
