Silver Leaf Awards Now Accepting Entries for 2022
We’re pleased to announce that IABC Canada’s celebration of communication excellence, the Silver Leaf Award program, is open for entries!
You worked hard on your communication program. You did the research, executed the plan, and monitored the results. Now, it’s time for you to shine and be recognized for your best work.
Start pulling together your entries: the brand-new system is now open, and entries submitted by Tuesday, May 31 will receive a discounted rate.
- We’ve moved to a new platform – OpenWater – so if you’ve submitted in the past, you’ll need to set up an account.
- As with last year, you can submit your COVID-19-related programs under Division 2: Communication Management – Category 22B: COVID-19 Response & Recovery Management and Communication. You can also enter videos, writing, publications and other communication tools created for COVID-19 communication under the regular Division 4: Communication Skills categories. Feel free to include back to work plans in these categories.
Entry eligibility dates
- All work must be implemented, published or broadcast betweenJanuary 2020 and the day of submission. If a long-term strategy was developed before Jan. 1, 2020 and hasn’t been submitted previously to the Silver Leaf Awards it is eligible for entry.
- If a long-term strategy developed before Jan. 1, 2020 was submitted to the Silver Leaf program previously, only new information and progress will be evaluated.

You and your colleagues have accomplished some of your best work in our field during this time.
