2022 Silver Leaf winners announced

November 14, 2022

IABC Canada is proud to announce the winners of the 2022 Silver Leaf Awards, recognizing professional communications. Of the 88 entries submitted, 24 are being honoured with an award this year – 11 with an Award of Excellence and 13 with an Award of Merit. Entries spanned 14 different categories, ranging from government relations to non-profit campaigns, internal communications, digital communications, special events, and writing, among others.
“IABC Canada’s Silver Leaf program has proven to be a wonderfully valuable opportunity for both entrants and volunteers alike,” says Jaye Bowers, National Programs Director, IABC Canada East Region. “Seeing not only the high quality submissions and the impact that communicators are having within their communities and through the organizations they support and represent, but also in the critical feedback that evaluators provide entrants, it is inspiring to recognize both the talent among IABC Canada members, as well as the great support that members have been able to offer to each other by sharing their experience as volunteer evaluators. I congratulate all of the entrants on their hard work, and in particular, tip my hat to this year’s outstanding winners.”
“Congratulations to this year’s Silver Leaf winners. This award is a culmination of hard work and exceptional effort,” says Tamara Gale, National Programs Director, IABC Canada West Region. “It is not only an outstanding example of communication best practices and alignment with the Global Standard of the Communication Profession from entrants – but demonstrates the art of explaining the impact of solid and effective communication through the Silver Leaf application process. The process is intended to promote professional development for entrants and volunteer evaluators alike.”
