IABC Canada’s Master Communicator designation (MC) is the highest honour IABC Canada can bestow on an individual member, and recognizes a person’s body of work to advance the profession, uphold the Global Standard, and contribute to IABC. This designation recognizes outstanding Canadian communication professionals whose work has brought credit to the profession, their organization or clients, and whose contributions have raised the standards of communication in Canada.

Nomination process

To be considered for selection, a nominee must be an IABC member in good standing and a resident of Canada. The nominee must be an accredited business communicator (ABC) and/or a Strategic Communication Management Professional (SCMP).

The nominator must complete an application form, which includes a personal letter of recommendation and letters of recommendation from four sponsors.
