The IABC Canada Awards Committee provides strategic leadership and governance for the Silver Leaf Awards, Canada’s premier business communication awards program. This committee ensures alignment between the Silver Leaf Awards and IABC’s Gold Quill Awards, supporting excellence and consistency in communication recognition across Canada.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Overseeing the integrity and credibility of the Silver Leaf Awards program.
  • Ensuring alignment with IABC’s Gold Quill Awards.
  • Supporting Canadian chapters in developing and managing their local awards programs.
  • Managing evaluator recruitment, training, and selection for the Blue Ribbon Panels.
  • Providing strategic recommendations to the IABC Canada West and IABC Canada East regional boards.

The committee is co-chaired by the Directors of National Awards & Recognition from IABC Canada West and IABC Canada East.
