A seasoned professional in communications and public affairs, Alain Legault, MA, SCMP, has extensive experience within leading organizations in Montreal. Throughout his career, he has held senior-level positions, including with the Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM), Cégep Édouard-Montpetit, and the Société de transport de Montréal (STM). In these strategic roles, he has consistently combined vision, leadership, and effective execution to maximize the impact of organizational communications.
Alain holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from McGill University and a master’s degree in communication from the Université du Québec à Montréal. He is known for his deep commitment to the advancement of the profession. He has played a key role within the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC), serving his first term on the international board from 2015 to 2018, and returning for a second term (2021–2024), during which he assumed the role of international chair in 2023.
