A high-performance, high-energy communications and independent social content in-house agency, APEX and ruckus are fueled by innovation, strategic collaboration and senior-level involvement. Under Linda’s management as Co-Managing Partner, APEX and ruckus have won numerous industry awards including APEX – Creative Agency of the Year by the Canadian Public Relations Society and three-time Mid-Size Agency of the Year by IABC/Toronto and ruckus as Boutique Digital Agency of the year and small Agency of the Year by IABC/Toronto.

APEX is a mid-sized Canadian owned and partner-operated public relations agency. With 25+ years’ experience in public relations and fifteen of them at APEX, Linda’s role as Co-Managing Partner includes her being actively involved in each side of the business, APEX and ruckus – bringing her experience from the world of communications to the widely changing business of digital, social, content + kitchen sink. She oversees the effectiveness of APEX/ruckus’ many capabilities, enhancing client service and bolstering innovation to provide added value to their numerous blue-chip clients.

In 2013 Linda was actively involved in developing the new “agency within an agency” of the APEX business, ruckus Digital, as well as developing new service offering such as Syndication and Amplification in 2015-16. 2016 saw the launch of ruckus Design as well as Linda and her Co-Managing Partner, Ken Evans, buying APEX/ruckus, thus continuing a long traditional of entrepreneurialism started by the founder of APEX, Pat McNamara.

Prior to joining APEX, Linda held positions with three major international public relations firms. Linda holds a Bachelor of Applied Arts in Radio and Television Arts and a Canadian Public Relations Society Certificate from Ryerson University. A winner of numerous industry awards, both national and international, Linda is a Past President of IABC/Toronto, a current IABC/Toronto Board member and a long-time board volunteer and a member of the Peer Advisory Committee for Centennial College’s PR program.
