Phoebe Dey is a seasoned communication professional with more than 30 years’ experience. Before joining Cystic Fibrosis Canada in 2022 as Chief Marketing and Communications Officer, she spent 13 years with the Alberta Cancer Foundation where she had the privilege of leading an internationally recognized team responsible for brand, storytelling, stakeholder engagement, media relations, external/internal communication, digital and social media, website development and more, all with the goal of increasing fundraising revenue for the organization. Before the Alberta Cancer Foundation, Phoebe worked at the University of Alberta in the Office of Public Affairs, helping to raise its national and international profile. She is a member of the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC Edmonton chapter) and recently co-lead the global Healthcare Communications Shared Interest Group. She has hosted many communications-related webinars, conferences and held sessions on storytelling and brand purpose. She has a graduate diploma in journalism from Concordia University in Montreal and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Alberta and holds her Strategic Communications Management Professional (SCMP) designation through IABC.
