Annual membership renewal deadlines now in effect: What you need to know
December 15, 2024
Over the past two years, IABC has been transitioning to an annual renewal cycle with the membership year ending on December 31 of each year for all members. This change was initiated to simplify and standardize membership renewals, making the process easier and more efficient for everyone.
Today, this is not an auto-renew process — that will be coming for future years — so to maintain your membership, you will need to go through the renewal process manually by logging into your account on iabc.com and following the renewal steps.
Here are a few pieces of information that may be helpful for you in this process:
- If you renew your membership now, you’ll pay the annual rate and won’t have to pay any extra for the days remaining in the year. Anyone who renews in December will be entered into a draw to win complimentary 2025 World Conference registrations!
- If your membership renewal is tied to the calendar fiscal year, there is a 30-day grace period for you to renew your membership. After January 30, you will become a lapsed member.
- If you belong to (or are the administrator for) a group and corporate membership and your membership dues are tied to the 2025 budget year, you can also make use of the 30-day grace period. We’d definitely encourage starting that process before the end of the year so payment can take place as quickly as possible once we close up that 2024 calendar and open up 2025’s. Reach out to Member Relations to help get started on that process.
- If you’re looking to adjust your membership, check out this page on iabc.com to determine what type of membership is best for you.
