Diny is a consultant and seminar leader who has earned distinction as an award-winning journalist and organizational communicator. Prior to establishing her own firm, Dalby & Dalby Associates, Diny was a member of the senior management team of The London Free Press and served as Manager, Corporate Communication and Donations for The Blackburn Group Inc. She has worked as a reporter with The London Free Press, the Chatham Daily News and as a television personality with what is now the A Channel in London, ON.

A charter member of the International Association of Business Communicators, Diny is the founding president of IABC London. Accredited since 1982, she served on the International Accreditation Board as an examiner for six years. She was named a Master Communicator in 1987 and subsequently served as district co-ordinator for the Master Communicator program.

For a dozen years, Diny co-ordinated and taught a course in organizational communication in the Graduate Journalism Program, Faculty of Information and Media Studies, at the University of Western Ontario and has lectured in other faculties and certificate programs at Western, King’s University College, and Fanshawe College. She has also advised on curriculum development for communication programs at Centennial College, Toronto, and Fanshawe College, London.

Active in the London community, Diny has served on numerous volunteer task forces, committees and boards.
