Ron Shewchuk, BJ, MC is one of Canada’s leading communicators, with a 30-year track record of delivering positive results. Ron has served in senior positions in corporate public relations, employee communications, marketing, and PR consulting. His progressive approach to communications has earned him four Gold Quill awards.

In 2005 Ron’s handbook, Writing and Editing the Internal Publication: Delivering Employee Communications with Impact, Integrity and Style, was published by the IABC Knowledge Bank. As a public relations strategist and corporate spokesperson, Ron has helped several large organizations address major public issues including an international activist campaign, environmental crises and high-profile labour disputes.

As an employee engagement expert, he has planned and executed internal communications programs for major employers in the health care, energy, telecommunications and forest products industries.

In 2013 he launched the TV@Work podcast, an audio show about using video to engage employees. Ron is based in North Vancouver, Canada. He is currently Communications Director for the Clinical and Systems Transformation, an $830 million project designed to improve the safety, consistency and quality of patient care across three health organizations and 40 acute care facilities.

In his spare time he loves to barbecue, and has written three bestselling cookbooks on the subject.
